May Employee of the Month: Mackenzie Larimore

By

At LTADD, we believe the heart of our mission lies in the dedication and compassion of our staff. This month, we are incredibly proud to celebrate MacKenzie Larimore as our May Employee of the Month.

Mackenzie has been a vital part of the LTADD family for one year, serving as a Waiver Case Manager. In this role, she works directly with individuals in our community to ensure they have the support and resources they need to live independent, fulfilling lives.

The role of a Waiver Case Manager requires a delicate balance of technical precision and human empathy. According to her supervisor, Waiver Director Christin Hendren, Mackenzie masters both with ease.

“Mackenzie consistently does an excellent job and is always willing to step in and help where needed,” Christin said. “Her work is thorough, timely, and high quality. I appreciate the positive and inclusive attitude she brings to the team and her willingness to support her teammates whenever needed.”

Beyond her standard caseload, Mackenzie has taken on additional responsibilities, including assisting with training new team members. The feedback from those she has supported has been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting her ability to lead by example and foster a collaborative environment.

For Mackenzie, the decision to join LTADD a year ago was driven by a desire to work in an environment that truly values its people.

“The best part about working at LTADD is the positive atmosphere and culture,” Mackenzie said. “It is a blessing to work for wonderful leaders who appreciate their staff.”

That sense of mutual respect is exactly what makes Mackenzie a standout employee. When staff feel supported, they are empowered to provide the highest level of care to the citizens of the Lincoln Trail region, and MacKenzie is a shining example of that philosophy in action.

Thank You, Mackenzie! Whether she is navigating complex waiver requirements, training a colleague, or simply bringing her trademark inclusive attitude to a morning meeting, Mackenzie makes LTADD a better place to work.
