Lincoln Trail Clerks Attend KMCA Spring Conference

By

The heart of efficient local government lies in the hands of our dedicated Municipal Clerks. From record-keeping to public transparency, their work ensures our cities run smoothly and remain accountable to the citizens they serve.

LTADD is proud to share that several members of the Lincoln Trail Municipal Clerks Association recently traveled to Paducah to attend the Kentucky Municipal Clerks Association (KMCA) Spring Conference.

The KMCA conference is a vital opportunity for clerks across the Commonwealth to stay updated on legislative changes, ethical standards, and modern administrative practices. Investing in professional development means these leaders bring the most current knowledge back to our local communities.

Representing the Lincoln Trail region at this year’s conference were:

  • Toni Burton, City of Bloomfield
  • Lynnette McAdams, City of Muldraugh
  • Jessica Graham, City of Elizabethtown
  • Tina Ford and Jenny Ford, City of Hardinsburg
  • Amy Haynes, City of Brandenburg
  • Lori Woosley, City of Leitchfield
  • Nikki Wheatley, City of Lebanon

The dedication shown by these individuals to their craft directly translates to better service and more resilient city governments across our district.

The collaboration doesn’t stop at the state conference level. The Lincoln Trail Municipal Clerks Association meets regularly to share best practices, discuss regional challenges, and support one another in their essential roles.

We encourage all City Clerks within the LTADD region to join us for our next session at 10 a.m. May 27 in the LTADD Boardroom, 750 S. Provident Way in Elizabethtown.

These meetings are an excellent way to stay connected with your peers and ensure your city is benefiting from our regional network. We look forward to seeing a full room as we continue to work together for the betterment of the Lincoln Trail region.
