Shape the Future of Aging Services in Lincoln Trail

By

Are you a caregiver, an older adult, an individual with a disability, or simply someone passionate about supporting our region’s senior community? The Lincoln Trail Area Development District (LTADD) wants to hear from you! We are hosting a Public Hearing to review the Area Plan for Aging Services for FY 2027-2029, and your input is crucial.

This comprehensive plan outlines the services and support available to older adults in our region. The services are funded by programs and agencies like the Older Americans Act, Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services, and Kentucky State-funded initiatives. These programs are made possible through partnerships with the Cabinet for Health and Family Services and the Administration for Community Living, U.S. Department for Health and Human Services.

Why is your participation important?

This hearing is your chance to understand the proposed plan and provide feedback that will directly impact the services offered to our aging population. We are particularly interested in hearing from:

  • Caregivers: Your experiences and insights are invaluable in shaping effective support systems.
  • Disabled Individuals: Ensuring accessibility and tailored services for all is a top priority.
  • Low-Income Individuals: We want to ensure equitable access to resources for everyone.
  • Minority Individuals: Your perspectives help us create culturally competent and inclusive programs.

Public Hearing Details:

  • Date: Wednesday, February 18, 2026
  • Time: 9:00 a.m. (EDST)
