NOW HIRING | Community Development Specialist
Lincoln Trail Area Development District (LTADD), a multi-jurisdictional, planning and development agency, is seeking a motivated, team-oriented and dynamic individual to serve as Community Development Specialist in the Community & Regional Economic Development (CRED) division. Position is responsible for supporting local governments and communities by securing and managing funding for various projects. This position involves grant writing and grant administration, and providing technical assistance to all local governments and their affiliated entities to include special taxing districts, industrial authorities/foundations and businesses by fostering partnerships to promote sustainable growth and development.
Required: Bachelor of Science Planning, Public Administration, Government, or related field and, at least one (1) year related experience.
The region is best served with a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills. Aptitude in relationship building is imperative, aiding in efficient communication across all coordinating planning agencies and local, state, and federal officials.
