LTADD team members learn more about leadership, explore LaRue County
On November 20, the Community & Economic Development (CED), Workforce Development, and Engineering teams completed an intensive day of leadership growth and strategic team building. This outing was focused on strengthening LTADD’s emerging and established leaders across departments, fostering the communication and collaboration essential to LTADD’s continued success.
The team explored their unique leadership styles and personality types to better understand how they can relate and engage with their teammates and support LTADD services. By providing our teams with the tools for personal and professional development, LTADD is actively cultivating a strong and supportive culture. Conversations throughout the day centered around identifying individual and collective team strengths and improving internal communication pathways.
Beyond the dedicated development sessions, the teams took the opportunity to explore the local area, fully immersing themselves in the spirit of LaRue County. The exploration began with a guided tour of a key historical landmark: the Lincoln Museum in Hodgenville. This visit to the local history museum provided a unique context for reflection and civic appreciation.
Furthermore, the itinerary was specifically designed to support local LaRue County businesses. The group enjoyed a fantastic lunch at The 16th, where the strategic conversations around team dynamics continued. The day concluded on a sweet note with dessert and a reflective discussion at The Sweet Shoppe, ensuring that our presence directly contributed to the local economy.
The event is part of an ongoing, committed series of cross-team leadership experiences. By strengthening connections, supporting personal and professional development, and strategically investing in the team, LTADD is actively inspiring a more unified and capable culture among the growing team.
