LTADD Aging presents to Hardin County EMS

By

Last week, Marlessa Stark and Christin Hendren LTADD Aging & Independent Living hosted three presentations for Hardin County EMS personnel. The goal was to better equip first responders with the knowledge of available community resources.

EMS agencies are on the front lines, often the first and only service to witness the poor welfare situations of vulnerable residents—including senior adults with limited food access or disabled individuals needing long-term assistance. This initiative ensures that when a medic leaves a patient’s home, they can confidently offer specific, actionable resources to address underlying social challenges.

LTADD is committed to helping our EMS partners transition from simply treating emergencies to holistically supporting resident well-being. If your organization would like to learn more about LTADD services or would like us to speak to your group, please contact us at (270) 737-6082.
