Sheldon Jones Promoted to Lead LTADD’s New SYNC Division

At LTADD, continuous improvement and modern technology go hand in hand with regional progress. To streamline our internal operations and expand our technological capabilities, LTADD is thrilled to announce the promotion of Sheldon Jones as the Director of our brand-new Systems & Network Collaboration (SYNC) Division.

Although Sheldon only joined the LTADD family at the end of March, his technical expertise, initiative, and vision have made an incredible impact in a very short time. As SYNC Division Director, Sheldon is taking on a dynamic dual role that bridges internal innovation with external client support.

On the operational side, Sheldon is actively automating internal processes to help LTADD run faster and more efficiently, while seamlessly building upon and continuing the vital IT services long established by Russell Mays, who recently retired.

Beyond internal systems, Sheldon works directly with our LINC clients on critical digital needs, including website development, domain transfers, and tailored IT consulting. Looking ahead, the vision for the SYNC Division is even bigger: LTADD hopes to expand SYNC’s technology and network services to local governments and businesses across our eight-county region.

Sheldon said the culture at LTADD made all the difference in choosing to work here.

He also shared his desire for more community members to understand the full scope of what the agency offers.

“I wish more people knew who we are and how we can help them,” he said.

Stepping into this leadership role, Sheldon expressed immense gratitude for the team that backed his journey.

“Thank you to the whole staff for taking a chance on me, especially my mentors Russell, Kasey, Brad, Katie, and Daniel for preparing me for this opportunity,” he said. 

Whether automating workflows behind the scenes, assisting small businesses and local initiatives with their web presence, or laying the groundwork for regional tech support, Sheldon’s leadership in the SYNC Division marks a new and exciting chapter for LTADD.
