Nick Douthitt Promoted to Director of Engineering, Design and Mapping

Great regional planning relies heavily on precision, technical expertise, and a clear vision for the future. That is why LTADD is proud to announce the promotion of Nick Douthitt to Director of Engineering, Design and Mapping.

Having served as an Engineering Tech at LTADD for a little over a year, Nick has consistently demonstrated technical excellence, a strong work ethic, and a genuine commitment to supporting the infrastructure and development goals of our eight-county region.

In his new role as director, Nick will oversee the team responsible for LINC SYNC, a uniquely LTADD service, along with geographical information systems (GIS), mapping initiatives, engineering design, and technical assistance for local infrastructure projects. His leadership will be instrumental in helping local municipalities plan, map, and execute essential community developments.

When reflecting on his experience with the organization and what makes LTADD a special place to work, Nick highlighted both the internal environment and the far-reaching work of the team:

“The culture here is amazing. I wish others knew about how much impact LTADD has on our region,” Nick said. “The amount of services that all the departments offer here is huge for our area.”

Nick also expressed his appreciation for the leadership team and colleagues who supported his professional growth:

“I want to thank those who believed in me and saw what we can accomplish moving forward,” Nick said.
