CASE Team Grows With Addition of New Waiver Case Manager

Connecting neighbors with the care they need takes dedicated people who genuinely care about the community—and that is exactly what brought Nehki Hunter to our team, who joins us as a Waiver Case Manager.

A fresh graduate from May 2026, Nehki entered the job market with a clear mission: to launch a career aligned with a desire to serve the community. While exploring opportunities across the region, LTADD stood out immediately.

When Nehki saw that LTADD was named one of the Top 5 Best Places to Work in Kentucky, the choice became easy.

“Without any hesitation, I knew that this would be a great fit for me,” Nehki said.

In the role of Waiver Case Manager, Nehki will work directly with clients and families across the Lincoln Trail region, helping individuals with disabilities and older adults access essential services, navigate Medicaid Waiver programs, and remain safe and independent in their homes.

Nehki’s passion for public service extends well beyond the workplace. While stepping into this new professional role at LTADD, Nehki is also pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Administration (MPA) at Murray State University.

Outside of work and graduate studies, you’ll likely find Nehki unwinding at home, enjoying time playing games on the PC. He also is an active member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. 

Nehki’s enthusiasm for public service and dedication to personal and professional growth make a wonderful addition to the Community Aging & Social Engagement (CASE) team.
