Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC)
The BRIC grant, funded through FEMA, provides planning grants to the 15 Area Development Districts across the state to help identify the critical facilities, undertake hazard mitigation projects, and reduce risks from disasters and natural hazards. In partnership with the KY Energy and Environment Cabinet, this first meeting will discuss regional surveying of critical facilities for energy capabilities to enhance energy resilience and security in the Commonwealth. Lincoln Trail ADD with host Senator Jimmy Higdon, Senate Transportation Chairman on Tuesday, October 10th at 1:30pm ET. Senator Higdon will provide an update on the Kentucky Transportation Budget as the General Assembly begins work on the new Highway Plan. The meeting expected to last about 1-1/2 hours. Area Officials and Business Leaders are invited.

INFORMATION
RCAP is partnering with the Lincoln Trail Area Development District to provide 4 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to Drinking Water Operators and Wastewater Operators. Due to federal funding from the USDA Rural Development, U.S. EPA and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, this training will be provided at NO COST to participants. Since this is a four hour training, please know that there will be break opportunities throughout the day including a lunch break. Lunch will be provided by Lincoln Trail Area Development District.
