Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC)
The BRIC grant, funded through FEMA, provides planning grants to the 15 Area Development Districts across the state to help identify the critical facilities, undertake hazard mitigation projects, and reduce risks from disasters and natural hazards. In partnership with the KY Energy and Environment Cabinet, this first meeting will discuss regional surveying of critical facilities for energy capabilities to enhance energy resilience and security in the Commonwealth. Lincoln Trail ADD with host Senator Jimmy Higdon, Senate Transportation Chairman on Tuesday, October 10th at 1:30pm ET. Senator Higdon will provide an update on the Kentucky Transportation Budget as the General Assembly begins work on the new Highway Plan. The meeting expected to last about 1-1/2 hours.
