The Trade Program (Employment and Training Dept)

This program provides employment and training assistance to workers who experience a job loss due to elements of U.S. Foreign Trade such as imports or off-shoring. Once a trade petition is certified for a company employees will be determined eligible for a variety of employment and training benefits. The goal of the program is to help employees transition back into the workforce as quickly and smoothly as possible into high-demand occupations.
