Public Hearing Notice (Aging Svcs) (March 21, 2018)
The Lincoln Trail Area Development District (LTADD) will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. (EDST) at the Lincoln Trail Area Development District.
The purpose of the hearing is to review the Area Plan & Contractual Updates for Aging Services funded by the Older Americans Act, Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services, and the Kentucky Homecare Program.
These Programs are funded, in part, under contract with the Cabinet for Health and Family Services with funds from the Administration on Aging, U.S. Department for Health and Human Services.
A summary of the Plan will be available at local Senior Centers and the Meade County Community Action Center after March 1, 2018.
The full plan will be available for inspection at the Lincoln Trail ADD office, 613 College Street Road, Elizabethtown, KY 42701. Views are being sought particularly from caregivers, disabled, low income and minority individuals.

Job Opening: KCADD Exec. Director (February 21, 2018)
The Kentucky Council of Area Development Districts (KCADD) seeks applicants for its position of Executive Director. The KCADD headquarters is located in Frankfort just blocks from the State Capitol.
The KCADD Executive Director position oversees the day-to-day management and operation of the KCADD and serves as an information source to the KCADD Board of Directors and the KADD on matters pertaining to legislative, state, and federal initiatives; and seeks to strengthen the ADDs by creating an organizational culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.

Board of Directors: Guest Speaker (July 19, 2017)
Kentucky Association of Counties Director of Governmental Relations Shellie Hampton addresses the July meeting of the Lincoln Trail ADD Board of Directors.
Ms. Hampton discussed a variety of issues that face Kentucky’s counties including pension programs, tax reform and other funding issues.
