The Kentucky Long-Term Care Ombudsman program provides assistance and advocates for residents of nursing homes, family care homes, and personal care homes. Ombudsman regularly visits long-term care facilities to monitor care and conditions. Ombudsman receives, investigates, and works to resolve complaints regarding long-term care facilities as well as provide information and education to the general public.
Services are available to any resident of a long-term care facility, their family or friends, or a concerned member of the community. Anyone with questions or who would like to report a concern regarding a long-term care facility can contact their local ombudsman.
There is no cost for Ombudsman services. Donations are accepted.
